The links below are for the two volumes of a dictionary written by Dr. Samuel Johnson (1709-1784). If you are not familiar with the work, it is more nearly contemporary with the translation of the King James Version than any other, and is therefore a fairly valuable resource when analyzing some of the obscure terminology of the KJV.
