Our Pastor, Jim Williams, was born December 15, 1959 in Oakland, California and grew up in Fremont, California. Brother Williams was saved at the age of eight and baptized shortly thereafter under the authority of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Hayward. He attended Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church through his youth until he graduated high school. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. During active duty he met Stacy Kipp whom he married on December 22, 1979. The Lord blessed their lives and marriage with the birth of four wonderful children, Rick, Mark, David, and Rebekah.
Brother Williams decided to move to Fresno California where he continued his education at Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary. Near the end of his first year at seminary, God made it crystal clear why He had moved their family to Fresno. On March 8, 1988, Brother Williams accepted God’s call to minister and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Brother Williams later pastored Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Hayward for 3 years before being called to the mission field in Livermore. On April 29, 1993 Brother Williams began leading Grace Missionary Baptist Mission through the authority of First Missionary Baptist Church in Antioch, California. Brother Williams led the mission to organize into a Local New Testament Church on April 29, 2000 where he continues as pastor to date.
